3/14/2023 0 Comments Bootcamp 2.1 for macI needed to go this route because of the following: You can load the newest version of Windows 7 64bit onto a MacPro NTFS partition, but Bootcamp will not allow you to load its files onto that partition as it must see the 32bit Efi. I then use Winclone to copy that install onto the MacPro tower's NTFS partition. I was able to install Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit on my early 2011 macbookpro 8,2 bootcamp partition and then load the bootcamp drivers via my 10.6.6 install disc without a problem since this machine is 64bit. I have a 2006 MacPro Tower upgraded from 1,1 to 2,1 and Yosemite 10.10 installed via the ( pre-patched Piker-Alpha bootable Yosemite installer ) with a unflashed Gigabyte R9 280X REV2 card outputting 4096x2160 on my 4k projector.
